NIFA Postdoctoral Fellow
I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at North Carolina State University under the direction of Professor Dominic Reisig. I am conducting research related to improving pest management in cotton for cotton bollworm and tarnished plant bug.

My goal is to improve sustainable management of agricultural pests through the use of improved integrated pest management and insecticide resistance management.
Current Projects
Resistance Monitoring

I am developing a plant bioassay for detecting cotton bollworm resistance to Bt cotton. This project will help us improve insecticide resistant management strategies.
Plant Bug Problems

Lygus lineolaris, has become a greater threat to Carolina cotton over the last five years. We are reexamining treatment thresholds and spray timings for tarnished plant bug to determine what improvements can be made.
